Aujee Cordon Tyler Memorial Scholarship Foundation Criteria

Scholarship Criteria for National Guards CGYCA will be awarded to a cadet who has exemplified leadership skills, knew how to diffuse and utilize alternative measures when there was conflict to cause a win/win outcome.

 

 Essay: Please complete this Essay based on these questions

 

{A} Who are you now compared to how you were before you entered CGYCA?

{B} What do you see in yourself as you complete the CGYCA?

{C} How has the CGYCA prepared  you for your future?

 

Please submit your Essay by May 5, 2025

 

 

 

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Eligibility Requirements

. High School seniors, college students or vocational/trade students?

. Specific  Minimum GPA requirements? { 2.5+, 3,0+}

. Specific major field of study?

. Community service or leadership involvement or extracurricular activities ? Proof of community service or extracurricular involvement { certificate, letter, or brief summary}.

2. Submission Package Completed application form

. Official transcript

. Personal statement or essay  { 500-700 words} answering:

" How do you plan to make a positive impact in your community, and how will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?"

. 2 Letters of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, employer, or community leader.

Scholarship Award Is Annual Amount $500, $1000, $2500, $5000

Disbursement: Funds will be sent directly to the recipient's educational institution.
